Dr. Nathan Gay

Nathan Gay, Psy.D., is a Licensed Psychologist with his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Indiana State University. He completed his APA Pre-Doctoral Internship at UMASS Memorial Community Healthlink – Youth and Family Services in Worcester, MA. Prior to starting Attention, Behavior and Cognition, Dr. Gay was the Director of Clinical Services at a non-profit behavioral health organization providing special education and treatment services to children, adolescents and young adults with emotional, behavioral, intellectual and developmental disorders. Before founding ABC, he worked in a group practice providing treatment and diagnostic evaluation services to children, adolescents and families.

Dr. Gay has over 20 years of experience in working with children, adolescents, families, and adults, specializing in the assessment and treatment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Dr. Gay also has experience and training in the assessment and/or treatment of social, emotional or behavioral concerns such as anxiety, depression, oppositional or defiant behavior, school refusal, as well as adult ADHD evaluation and treatment. He utilizes a cognitive-behavioral approach to treatment, relying on effective, practical treatment approaches that help children, adolescents and families to reach their unique treatment goals.
