Dr. Ashley Warhol
Ashley Warhol, Psy.D., is a Licensed Psychologist with her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She completed her Doctoral Internship at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Rutland, MA and worked in this residential treatment setting for 10 years providing treatment to children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders. Ashley currently works full-time for the Department of Developmental Services and is taking individual therapy clients at ABC part-time via telehealth only.
Ashley has particular experience working with healthcare providers (i.e., physicians, nurses, therapists, psychologists, medical residents, etc.) who are experiencing everything from work-related stressors to managing mental health symptoms. She has expansive knowledge of medical systems and their culture and how that impacts individuals personally and professionally. In addition to this population, Ashley has extensive training and experience working with individuals who identify as LGBTQ+ and the provision of affirming care. She is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and utilizes other evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other trauma-informed modalities. Ashley has experience treating anxiety, depression, PTSD/adjustment issues, stress management, neurodevelopmental disorders, Bipolar and related disorders, and personality disorders.
Ashley describes herself as radically genuine, compassionate, humorous, and authentic. She strives to create a positive and safe therapeutic environment free of judgment and focused on client goals. Ashley takes a collaborative approach to treatment and encourages radical genuineness from her clients.
